Motherboard upgrade because of ATX connector

Hello,

I'm currently running a GTX 750 1GB paired with a i3-4160 and 8gigs of ram +2tb hdd.. But i'm needing a new motherboard because this one runs on a 14-pin ancient ass atx connector so I'm wondering if anyone know's a "cheap" (preferrably) motherboard which can hold a: i3-4160 with a RX 470 4GB (because upgraded gpu) with a 8gigs of ram (1 stick) and 2tb hdd...

H97 anniversary board by asrock usually does the trick cheaply. I've used the atx and micro atx version in builds with no issues.

THis is waht you need, if that boards only fault is it's power connection. Don;t just grab teh cheapest one thogh. S0mething over 10-15 shoudl be just fine.

I have heard, that if incorrect it could fry your Motherboard... and at the moment i cant afford much down time on my pc because of schoolwork so I'd prefer a "simple" fix such as a new motherboard instead

Like i said, get one for 15 bucks and it won't cause you such issues.

Just something to add, i'm not 100% sure my motherboard is Micro-atx.. If anyone could detect atx or micro-atx or mini-atx in the picture i linked in the original thread..

Yeah it's an Acer, right? If it can take full height PCIE cards, dont change the case, as it's non-ATX most likely(Both the MB and teh case are).

Yeah it's an Acer, right? If it can take full height PCIE cards, dont change the case, as it's non-ATX most likely(Both the MB and teh case are).

Can't really seem to confirm it, but, by the looks of it i'm 99% sure it's micro ATX. Teh MB you linked + a PSU should do fine.
