[SOLVED] motherboard upgrade for ryzen 3700x?

so essentially I want to upgrade from my Ryzen 2600 to a Ryzen 3700x.
I am worried that my motherboard is not good enough as i kind of went to the cheaper side.
Current board: MSI B450m Gaming-Plus mATX
just looking for a bit of guidance on whether i should upgrade the board or not.

I would upgrade to a midrange X570 . That is a low end B450.

Your current motherboard has a pretty robust VRM for an lower tier B450 board. It will most definately have no issues with a Ryzen 7 3700x.

If you want to upgrade, go with a decent X570 to get PCIe4.
