Motherboard Upgrade Problems

Ive recently upgraded my Motherboard from a Gigabyte H170M-D3H to an Asus z170 Deluxe. Right after the upgrade, everything was fine but a day later, I had problems. Apps like Spotify and iTunes would suddenly stop playing songs, Youtube vids would stop playing audio mid video, and my speakers (connected through an audio interface) would stop working randomly.

None of these happened when I had my Gigabyte Motherboard. Im sure this isnt a problem with my internet because my laptop has no problems with these, but could it be because of my motherboard's wifi antenna or lan port? Would these problems be because of my motherboard or are these just coincidences?

how are you connecting?

wifi or ethernet cable?

if its wifi you may have to move the aerials around

Sorry for the late reply.
Hopefully it is just a coincidence. I've tried moving the antennas around, and it surprisingly worked.

and its surprisingly common if using a pci/pci-e wifi card that you need to play about with the antennas to get a better signal

guess its because the metal of the pc case can block the signal a bit

if the wifi affects streaming sites like youtube etc then affecting the audio is just a knock on effect

its not affecting the audio hardware as such just that the sound stops while it re-buffers
