Hello Everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade my motherboard and buy my first SSD.

I did my first build ever, two years ago and I did the horrible mistake of picking up a cheap mobo that cannot overclock and I'm unable to make use of my GPU's OC mode as well as crank up the CPU a bit.

Would you please help me pick up an upgrade?

Also is an HDD and SSD configuration worth it? Or should I invest in a bigger SSD and just throw my HDD out?

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K -Socket LGA1151

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X - 6GB

PSU: Corsair RM550x - 80 PLUS GOLD

RAM: 2x 8GB Kingston HyperX DDR4 2666

Current Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B250-PLUS

I'm looking for something reasonably priced, for example, I did some research and found that the ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E is pretty good, but for an old build such as mine, I don't really want to pay for brands.

I'm not very knowledgable about SSDs, I know that your mobo can be the bottleneck in transfer rates and such... but I haven't enough time to do more research on the subject, so I'm hoping that someone can help me out with the difficult decision.
