Question Motherboard vga port not working

Motherboard vga port not working. E-Machine Windows 8.1 How can I install PCI graphic card drivers and installation disc without motherboard vga port not working to see install disc program. Hopefully someone here can help me with this problem. I've googled it checked u tube and cannot find anything helpful. <Personal Information Removed by Moderator>

Are you plugging monitor into GPU ? If you do, can you see POST screen ? In most cases, BIOS turns off onboard video when you insert dedicated GPU.

When I turn on PC I get no signal on monitor using motherboard vga port. I have tried to install graphic card to use its vga port to get monitor to display to install card installation disc. To add drivers for PCI graphic card. Monitor shows same as when using motherboard vga port. Trying to find a way to see display. I don't know how to install drivers for PCI card without having monitor display without motherboard or PCI card vga port giving no signal to monitor. I know monitor is working because I can hook up my laptop to it and monitor display's.
