back on january this year i accidentally bent an LGA 1150 motherboard when my finger slipped to the socket when im cleaning it.
i tried bending it back tried powering it using screw driver and incorrectly jump started it (i was nervous and incorrectly touched the pins nearby the pwr_btn. i tried it again correctly and the fans ramped up and turns off shortly without displaying anything on monitor. i kept it on storage and after few months. yesterday when i tried to check if it really is dead and turned it on and booted up. are there any explanation to this?
motherboard boots up

Either your CPU and motherboard pin made proper contact after all that time sitting around with pressure applied to it, or it's possible you bet a ground pin, which would be less serious than bending a pin meant for data transfer. Neither case is ideal but as the ol' saying goes, "if it works, it works". Just pray you don't look at it funny.
