Motherboard wont beep

Hello:

I have everything set up, but I can't get the motherboard to beep on start up. All fans are running, the drives are working, I've installed windows 8.1, everything seems to be working... except the motherboard does not beep when I start the case. Can anyone help please?

My build is below:

Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth 990x
CPU: FX-8350 AMD 8-Core
GPU: Sapphire 10036-4L Radeon 290X
Mem: Radeon Performance Series DDR3 -1866
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2
SSD: Samsung Evo 250GB
HDD: Seagate Barrcuda 3TB
OPT: LG Blu-Ray Writer
Fan: 5x 140mm Factory Installed; 4x 140mm added by me.

Page 2-28 of the manual shows where you can hook up a MB speaker. This MB doesn't come with a built-in speaker - like they used to.

If you don't have the onboard speaker http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTHERBOARD-PC-INTERNAL-MINI-ONBOARD-CASE-SPEAKER-BUZZER-BIOS-BEEPS-NEW-/171056967083 , you will not hear the beep.
