I have a packard bell imedia s2100 (acer D1F-AD) board that will not load windows install, linux install or ubcd. On windows it gets to loading windows and starts spinning then the PC seems to just restart without any display output. Linux loads the initial options screen then once anything is selected it restarts.
Strangely though it will run MS-DOS and MEMTEST.
Is this a hardware issue when more APU power is needed it will fail? Its really driving me nuts :/
I have tried alternate power supply as well as changing ram, using one stick ect.
Any ideas are appreciated, Thanks.
