Question motherboard wont detect my gpu.

i have a gtx 1660 ti installed on a z77 extreme 4 ( asrock ) motherboard, and my pc cant detect my gpu at all, not in the bios of the mobo or the device manger, it is fully seated in the motherboard and connected correctly. any suggestions ?

windows 10 64bit version 1809

Have you tried another GPU and see if it works on the motherboard? I just had a z77 board die on me a month ago, same issue, black screen with a gpu installed. Turns out chip that gives power to the PCIE lanes fried. Go check and see if you have a burnt chip near the PCIE lanes. Forgot the chip name.

sorry for the late update guys
i tried my 1660 ti on another pc it it didn't work no fans working not even detected in the motherboard as well.i tried another gpu on my system i think radeon 7800 and it worked perfectly. soo i contacted evga and will send it to them right away could be a defect.
