motherboard won't display anything

I am using a msi h61m p31 mother board and Intel celeron and 2 gigs dDr 3 ram ,getting no image or anything on screen

You need to add a power supply for it to run.

Seriously though, is this a new (to you) rig or is this an older working system that suddenly isn't displaying anything? (so yes give us the PSU model#)
