Hi guys,

I brought this up more than a month ago but found no solution.

- Board is a Gigabyte z97x gaming 5.
- Been using the board for almost two years now (I should still have a month of warranty left on it)
- No board speaker to listen for beep codes

Steps I've tried so far:
- Used several RAM sticks - Tested all Ram sticks on another computer, confirmed all are working, motherboard seems to detect ram as motherboard won't even show underscore without a working RAM installed
- Tried out all RAM slots with several RAM sticks
- Tried resetting CMOS by inserting jumper taken from an old HDD
- Tried replacing battery
- Tried removing battery for 10 minutes
- Removed all HDD's to make sure it's not a Windows boot/boot order issue
- Tried removing CPU, no bent pins, no physical anomalies with cpu backside
- Tried both onboard and discrete GPU
- BIOS inaccessible

Computer turns on, audio LED lights up, fans spin. Monitor will not get signal, go to power saving mode then turn right back on with a blinking underscore.

Removing CMOS battery and turning computer on w/o the battery will still result in a blinking underscore

Thank you for the help!

Hi Countmike, you're actually the same person who replied to my post when I initially posted it a month back. Anyway, as stated on my post,it's not an issue with that - "Removed all HDD's to make sure it's not a Windows boot/boot order issue"
