Motherboard (Z170-PRO) bent. Foam I/O shield makes board not line up with case standoffs.

I have a ASUS Z170-Pro to replace my ASUS Z170-A that I'm having problems with. As I was about to install my CPU cooler's mounting bracket, I noticed that my board is slightly bent in the middle:

I don't want to bother installing/plugging anything in if this is a manufacturing error that means my board is DOA. All I have installed are the CPU and RAM and I didn't apply major force on anything to warrant this kind of deformation.

In addition, because of this board's IO shield having grounding foam on the back, it means that my motherboard cannot properly align with my Enthoo Luxe's standoffs. I'm not sure how to fit this board into my case, or if it's even worth it given the aforementioned bending of the board.

Honestly, I'm really upset about this because if this is a major problem, that's two ASUS boards in a row that have given me issues. Should I send this one back too? I got it new from Amazon, it's not used or anything like that.

Get Gigabyte Gamin 5 it is alot better

So is this sort of bending not standard? I looked at my Z170-A and it's also a little curved in the middle. I don't want to get that board, Samer, it's like £180 and this one was just over £130.

Fed up with this, tbh. I've had rubbish luck trying to build my PC.

I partly want I want to stick with this board is because I have a specific black and white colour-scheme for my build. While I appreciate your help, I think I'm going to just get a replacement of this one from Amazon.

dont buy from Amazon , try known stores . Amazon deals with very small shops you dont know where it gets it from

Reinstalled parts on old mobo just to see if it'd work. It posts fine, so I'm guessing that the original sticks of RAM I had was bad or I hadn't seated it in properly.

I'm going to return the Pro, I guess. Thanks for your help, Samer.
