Need help! I am new to building computers,however I am not interested in dual video cards or sli etc. I do however want to build the latest greatest but have a hard time deciding on motherboards. It seems sli is the most important issue. I need help on which motherboard to buy under my circumstances. Thanks in advance for your help. For my building purposes is it worth buying the latest greatest?

Well the latest greatest are Intel X48/X38 and on the Nvidia side 790i. The manufacturer ASUS, Gigabyte, etc. is up to you.
