My question is ---Is there any way to change your mother board and use your same hard drive with out reformatting and reinstalling every thing. I have lost my ga-8knxp for the second time. It will not boot. This is the second time I have RMA ed this board and I don't know what is causing it. I have a Asus board but when I put it in I end up having to reformat my drives. I have two WD740 Sata drives in raid 0. Any help would be appreciated. It takes Ga about a month to return my board and any sugestion as to what might be causing it to go out would be appreciated or how to correct The problem with out changing the board .

No. Not with that Raid configuration. Even little chipset differences will cause it to hang. You could try a repair install if you had the exact same controller chip on both boards but I wouldn't count on it.
