I am guessing you will not need a 1000w PSU.
Unless you have a 4 way of R9 290X's you can use this and it will be more than enough.

I'm not sure what wattage i need for my PSU, I just wanted to get a 1000w one to be on the safe side, my build so far is this:

GPU: ASUS Stix GTX 970 OC Edition
CPU: AMD FX 8350 8-core
