[SOLVED] motherboard's cpu support

Can gigabyte z390 aorus master (for example) support an 7th gen cpu ? Even if the socket is the same 1151? If i want to upgrade the motherboard , i have to change the cpu too ?
I have Intel i5 7500.

No. 300 series only supports 8th & 9th generations.
