How do i know if a motherboard supports overclocking? I heard the the model name has to start with "x" or "y", but are they seriously the only one who can OC?

Solution
as you can see with out a ''Z'' or ''X'' how things can be with intel

https://www.techpowerup.com/202196/asus-enables-overclocking-on-h97-h87-b85-and-h81-series-motherboards

and the same with intel trying to block that non k overclocking with the latest skylakes as well

intel ''Z'' like a z97 or z170 "X'' like x79 or x99 some lesser boards like ''H'' series can but rare to have the feature set in there bios
