I heard that ASUS have anti-surge protection and so as well as GIGABYTE under their Ultradurable feature. Now my question is:

Does Asrock and MSI have this kind of "anti-surge protection" feature? :??:
I am aware of MSI's Military Class II feature but i cant seem to find a particular feature stated above (power failure protection/anti-surge).

Thank you guys

Solution
none of the motherboard i heard about have this feature (or they all have it and no-one is still talking about)

The PSU should take care of that before the motherboard anyway... If not, you have a crappy PSU and you'll burn other components anyway so that's not a good/real sell argument for me...

Your UPS/power bar should be plugged in the wall and have anti-surge protect + the PSU in second line is supposed to have it too so you already have double protection here, why the third should be needed (if actually there is) ??à

I would say grab the motherboard you want and that serves you and a good power bar with a good PSU and you'll be ok not only for the motherboard but for all components...

as far as i know this is fiction. just buy a good surge protector to plug your PC into 😉 its easier and has nothing in common with fairy tales.

its because in our area, we are always experiencing power failures (browounts from time to time) and i dont have a ups. I have an ASUS h55 mobo (still kicking until today which im using now) and i read in its box that it has an anti surge feature which make me feel somehow secured. and also i only use a stock PSU. im planning to build a new rig myself that is why im searching for a feature like the ASUS have. i can buy an ASUS or GIGABYTE motherboard but im really considering a MSI or Asrock board. i just want to give them a chance. Back to topic, do they have a feature anti-surge-like feature? (MSI - Asrock)

Anyways, a very nice suggestion... so i can pick any mobo brand i want... heheh thanks a bunch to all who respond...

exactly 😉 plz pass on the solution love to whom ever you think deserves it.
