I have a Gigabyte B450M DS3H Rev Level 1 Mother board. The product specifications state that the motherboard has Onboard Graphics. Does this mean that I could use a Ryzen5 1400 on this board without having to use a separate graphics card?

Thanks,
Roger

Solution
On modern systems integrated graphics lives in CPU.
You need specific CPU with integrated Vega graphics:
Ryzen 3 2200G/GE,Ryzen 5 2400G/GE,
Ryzen 3 3200G/GE,Ryzen 5 3400G/GE.
Ryzen 3 5300G/GE, Ryzen 5 5600G/GE, Ryzen 7 5700G/GE.

Ryzen5 1400 doesn't have integrated graphics.

The motherboard just has the ports, in order for them to work you'd need a cpu/apu with built in graphics. So you could not run a 1400 without needing to add a dedicated gpu.

Due to my lack on knowledge I have ended up with some mismatched computer parts. I have two CPUs (an AMD ryzen5 1400 AM4 and an AMD X4 950 AM4) and I would like to use one of them in a build. Is there any Gigabyte, MSI, or Asus motherboard that will match up with one of these without the use of a separate graphic card?

No.
Ryzen5 1400 AM4 and AMD X4 950 AM4 do not have integrated graphics.
Discrete graphics card is absolutely necessary with those cpus.

Ryzen5 1400 is better option from those two.

This need for graphics cards is a surprise to me. I have done several builds in the past and never needed them. It looks like the changes came along about the time AM4 was introduced. I guess if I want to build old school I will have to go back to AM3. Or just stay with AM4 and only use processors with onboard graphics.
