Yes, they will work together. However, I really recommend you upgrade the motherboard to the m5a97 R2.0 (you currently have the m5a97 le r2.0). It's only $10 more and has an onboard heatsink, vrm cooling, 8 pin power, and an onboard usb 3.0 header. This would be especially useful if you plan on overclocking the CPU.
