Mothereboard Asus Help

I have a x850 pro card with 16 pipelines unlocked (agp). My motherboard has gone faulty on me so need to buy a new motherboard.


Can you pleasetell me if asus a8v-x any good, as it is one of few agp slot motherboards available in my country. here is a link to it.

the X850pro uses an R481 core while the radeon X800 xt uses the R420 core

while they are both manufactured using a 130nm process type I suspect they would have a different architecture so I'm guessing that they do not perform the same
