Hello everybody,

I'm planning to buy 144hz monitor and i have question related to gaming.
Why would somebody turn on motion blur in game if 144hz monitor doing opposite?

Solution

No if you have the horsepower to run games at 144fps then thats what it will run at regardless of motion blur. Honestly I have no idea how motion blur would look at 144fps it would probably make it more pronounced. All you would be doing is adding unnecessary blur everytime you move. 144fps is smooth as silk no need to blur anything. Try it out, I doubt you will like it.

I like motion blur, but it don't makes sense,i mean why buy 144hz monitor if you mean to turn blur on,it would be like having 60hz monitor then, right?

Hi

I'm looking into 1080p 144hz gysnc.

Does 144hz get a lot of motion blur as some more monitors come with ULMB which apparently dims the screen and strobes the light to stop blur.

Would I see blur with ULMB off.

I'm just looking for a smooth experience
