I am having an issue all of a sudden where Motioninjoy and Better DS3 are not being detected. I have done everything I can think of. Loading the driver, uninstalling the driver within Motioninjoy and within the device manager. There was also an issue where it wouldn't load the driver, but that was because the driver signing wasn't valid anymore and setting the clock year back to 2014 fixed that, apparently. It now says it loads the driver successfully but still doesn't detect the controller. I didn't have this issue before and now all of a sudden it is happening. My OS is Windows 10 Pro,if that matters. I would rather Better DS3 work but even its not detecting it. Are there any alternative to these? I know of DS for Windows but it looks like it only works with Dual Shock 4 controllers. Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a fix?

THANK YOU! I also dont use wireless,as I didnt install a bluetooth device in my PC,when I built it. I didnt see the need. It is working great, but I cannot use vibration. Every time the controller vibrates,it disconnects from the system,as if the cord was unplugged. I had the same issue with motioninjoy, when it did work. Must be my system haha. Oh well,it works well in both PCSX2 and Dark Souls 3,which I just tested too. It took me some time to figure out how to set the PCSX2 part up,but I got it. Thanks again :)

Huh, the vibration thing is wierd because it works on my DS3 for most games.... well except maybe PS2/ect games because the emulator might not communicate it properly >_> *shrug*

but it works in Dark Souls 3 with fat rolling.

Yeah,I was in the Catacombs of Carthus and as soon as one of the skeletons hit me,it vibrated and disconnected and I lost all control while the controller just kept on vibrating constantly. I am sure you can imagine how well that went and I had the foresight to Alt+F4 out of the game really fast and had to do some plugging and unplugging. I guess no more vibration for me,haha. I even tried a different controller. I dont know whats up,it didn't use to do that. Oh well, thanks again. I am glad not to have to hassle with Motioninjoy anymore,as well all know,it has its issues and seems to be discontinued anyway.

Yeah, sounds like a damaged connection port on the controller then, which is impressive because the DS3 is a really resiliant piece of hardware, I treat my pretty poorly but it's stuck around.
