motorola arris sb6121 and wi-fi router

I am ditching the comcast/infinity modem for a motorola arris sb6121, do i need to install a wireless wi fi router as well?

Unless you only have a single pc and you can connect it via ethernet you will need a router of some type. The arris box is purely a modem all it does is covert the data from a format that runs on coax to one that runs on ethernet. It has no concept of wireless or nat or anything.
