Possible to use zip ties to pull the mismatched heatsink to the board? I was going to use it with the case horizontal. The mounting holes are a little off. Or any other ideas? Its a pain trying to locate a 1155 heatsink in my area.

It should be easier than that finding a compatible heatsink. Don't forget to look for 1150 heatsinks (they're the same mounting pattern). You're right, they are slightly off from lga775 and won't fit. I wouldn't attempt the zip tie method either, you'll never get the clamping force you will with a proper mount and screws.
