Mounting Crystal Orb on Mobo Chipset?

Any suggestions on how to mount a Crystal Orb fan on a motherboard chipset that doesn't have any holes or other structures around it to facilitate the mount? Looks like thermal adhesive or Crazy Glue is the only way to go, but I'd like to avoid such a permanent solution. Thanks for any help...

DO NOT USE CRAZY GLUE ALONE. use thermal adhesive and dilute it with plain thermal compound.

i went to the tomshardware forums and all i got was this lousy signature.

i dont think you would want to mount the crob on your chipset...not because it wont cool it very well (it does a great job)...but the fan is hideously loud...even though thermaltake says its rated at 24 db...is closer to 40 db...if i were you....i would get a 40 mm fan and "stick" it on top of the existing heasink on the chipset...it'll be much quieter...

Sounds like a good idea--think I'll take a small fan and glue it on the existing heatsink with some of jihiggs' Arctic Silver Adhesive/Compound concoction. Thanks for the help, you guys...

If you already have one use Arctic Silver Adhesive or similair to mount it on the chip.
If you didn't bough one yet: you can also place a old Pentium 40mm CPU fan on it, works perfect.
