Hi all

I currently have an m2 SSD but I have ordered a second and I wanted to see if I need to order any additional mounting screws? From what I can see the mounting post may serve to hold the lower of the 2 drives in place but for piece of mind if somebody could confirm that would be appreciated. The motherboard is a ASUS Z370 GAMING PLUS if the m2 slots differ from board to board

Cheers

The board should have come with all the hardware you need. If that is no longer available, you may need the little standoff and a screw, but that is it.

Amazon sells M.2 standoffs and screws as little kits last I checked. Horrendously overpriced, but if you only need one, you are really paying for shipping.

Thanks for the reply Eximo.

I have the original stand off and screw which is currently being used to secure the existing m2 drive. The new drive is arriving tomorrow so I will try and install and update from there.
