Question Mounting hardware for NVMe drives in Asus ROG Hyper M.2?

My new Asus ROG Strix Z690-E shipped with a ROG Hyper M.2 that holds two (not four) NVMe drives but no mounting hardware was included. Does anyone know what to use?

The manual says 2 x M.2 screw packages were to be included. I have lots of M.2 screws that fit the threads but none with wide enough heads to secure the notch at the end of the drives. The other NVMe slots are latched -- so can't be used for reference.

The manual also refers to "stand screws" in the installation instructions -- which doesn't seem to make any sense in the context.

no mounting hardware was included

if you purchased new and accessories are not included;
you either contact the manufacturer and have them send replacement parts.
or you contact the retailer purchased from and request a refund/replacement of the purchase.

or you try finding some random replacement on your own and hope for the best.
