Mouse 3 problem

Hi! I need some help with the scroll on the mouse the scroll it self is perfect but when I press the scroll it self nothing happens I tried unplugging it nothing worked then i tried to do a restart nothing worked. please help

what kind of mouse is it? Mouse 3 doesn't tell me anything? Do you mean mouse button 3?

so you saying when you press in scroll wheel nothing happens?

PC didn't start after you unplugged mouse? or just mouse didn't work?

nothing happens when I press the scroll wheel, I tried doing a restart but it did not fix the mouse problem

So you can move cursor around but can't scroll screen.

so is it a brand name mouse or just generic? does it use its own drivers or just Microsoft?

have a look in settings/devices/mouse & touchpad. move the choose how many lines to scroll each time bar a little and see if it changes anything
