Installed Windows 10, and while the mouse and keyboard light up in the bios screen (and are usable), they turn off at the Windows 10 homescreen.

I can't even do anything with that computer right now because of the update, Please help

Specs: MB - Asus M5A97 R2.0 Graphics Card - GTX 970 CPU - Amd FX-8320 Keyboard - Ducky Shine 4 Mouse - Logitech G502

Solution
Microsoft has a great tutorial for how to fix just this problem:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/help/mouse-touchpad-keyboard-problems-in-windows#v1h=tab01

As an aside, make sure Windows isn't turning the mouse and keyboard off to "save power". Goofy, I know, but has been happening to a few people after the upgrade.

1. Control Pane> Devices and Printers
2. Right-click on your Mouse or Keyboard, go to Properties.
3. Hardware tab, click "HID device", then Properties.
4. Click on Change Settings, then the Power Management Tab.
5. The "Allow Windows to turn this device off to save power" should be checked.
6. Uncheck it and reboot.

Hope this helps!
