Hello.

I have a certain problem where my Logitech G500 will disconnect then reconnect ~10 seconds after it disconnects. The Windows disconnect sound will play and the lights on my mouse will shut off, then go back on. In other situations, both my G500 and my Steelseries 6GV2 will disconnect and not reconnect. The lights on both my mouse and keyboard will constantly flicker and Windows will play the disconnecting sound over and over until I manually shut off my computer. This ONLY happens to my mouse and keyboard, being I have a Blue Snowball that will NOT do the same. The mic will continue to work with no problem even when my mouse and keyboard are "disconnected."

PC Specs:
EVGA GeForce GTX 670
Intel i5-3570k @ 3.40GHz
ASRock Z77 Pro4
Corsair TX650w

Both my keyboard and mouse are wired, I have tried other usb ports (both on my motherboard, and on my case) neither seem to work. When the "disconnect" happens and I plug the mouse and keyboard into another computer, they seem to work fine, then when I plug them back into the computer I'm currently using, the problem continues. As I have said before, my microphone (Blue Snowball) continues to work when my mouse and keyboard are "disconnected."

Updating drivers didn't work. Unfortunately, with the help of my brother, I found out that it was ultimately the mouse itself. It is pretty understandable to me knowing that the mouse is somewhere between 3-6 years old. I had found out how to re-create the "disconnect"(moving my mouse left and right quickly, I play lots of FPS's and every time I moved it quickly, it would disconnect), and tried it on my brothers computer. As soon as it had "disconnected", I knew I had to buy a new mouse. Although, I am still curious as to how it would do the same to my keyboard.

Thank you for your help.
