[SOLVED] Mouse and keyboard not working on Windows 10 ?

I have an hp pro 3500 I can't get my mouse or keyboard to work on windows 10. I did a fresh install through the windows 10 graphical menu. And I mean clean install because my mouse and keyboard would cut in and out but now windows doesn't recognize them at all. I've tried using a wired mouse, safe mode and changing bios settings with no luck. The keyboard works fine in the bios and when booting ubuntu From live cd but when windows starts up I can't do anything.

Have you tried restting the computer to original/optimal settings, and power on to usb during start up in bios?

I tried that with a ubuntu cd and it worked great but most of my pc games are on windows. I tried with a windows bootable cd but it asked me for a product key even tho it's all stored through microsoft these days
