Mouse and keyboard stops working until i left click

Hello

I noticed this when i was playing games when my character stops moving even though I'm pressing w to move forward and the keyboard and mouse locks up and wont move until i press left click and then the keys work again and i can look around with mouse.

Then i noticed this wasnt a game problem, when i type something on chrome suddenly keyboard stops typing and i have to left click on the search bar again to type

I used multiple mouses and the same problem happens. Does anyone know what is wrong?

they are both plugged into the mobo usb in the back of the computer

off hand it sounds like your usb ports are going to sleep. You might want to check the usb sleep settings in your advanced power scheme settings. Using a usb2 port may also resolve this. I have only seen this type of problem with usb3.
