Hello, I've just now updated my system with a Ryzen 7 2700X and an asus B350-F Mobo.
(I'm still on windows 7)
Then when i boot the computer and go into windows login screen, my mouse and keyboard stops working.
It works just fine until then, I can edit in BIOS, i can access boot options and so on, but the last 1-2 seconds of "Loading Windows" they stop lighting up and sort of lose connection.
I've tried booting in safe mode, updating BIOS, disabling driver signature enforcement, cutting all the power and holding down the power button for both 10 and 30 seconds and a new mouse.
Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, youre my only hope.
For real though, i hope you can help. :)

Solution
did you reinstall windows 7 on the new computer or move an old copy of windows 7 to the new build. Im guessing its the old OS on new system because you would have ran into this issue far sooner when trying to install a fresh copy on the new system.

Your old usb drivers dont work on the new ryzen board, had you done a fresh install of win 7 you would have had to slipstream USB drives into the install since windows 7 does not support the newer board straight from the DVD.

Is there an option to enable USB legacy devices in the BIOS?

not as far as i can tell. I'm currently investigating that
I found something where it says legacy USB support - Enabled. Seems it is enabled, should i disable it?
