Mouse and keyboard won't work in Rainbow six siege

So when I enter the game I can only skip the starting videos with my keyboard not by clicking with mouse. After the "press any key to continue" phase the keyboard also stops from working in game. I can move my mouse or keep pressing keys but the game won't react. I can leave the game using alt+tab and everything outside the game works perfectly. So I'm stuck in the menu and all the animations are running fine and I can hear the music but I can't press anything. I have windows 10 and I have tried reinstalling the game and the computer but the same thing happens.

Hey, do you have any other USB devices plugged in that your system might interpret as input devices, such as pads or wheels? If so, please unplug these and try again.


If this doesn't help, please restart your system with a Clean Boot, then just start the game up and check again. This will help to check for interference from a 3rd party program.
