Mouse and keyboard works in bios,not in Windows.

Hi People,

So my keyboard will only work in the bios but wont work when I go into windows.Once i got to log in screen neither the mouse or keyboard would work.When i plugged in another mouse it worked and used on screen keyboard to log in.Anyone have any idea how to fix this? My device manager also looks like this.

In the bios settings of the motherboard enable Legacy usb detection of devices.

Connect the USB mouse to the back of your system tower.
You should see a PS2 type Mouse port on the main I/O at the back in a half purple and green color connect the mouse to either the usb ports situated above or bellow the Ps2 port.


The mouse should then be detected as a HID device, and list as a mouse or controler.

Yes, I did indeed and they worked fine! And I know they work as I can use them in my bios but once windows loads it wont work.

 

Yes, also have you tried plugging those problematic peripherals into a usb 2.0 slot?
USB 2.0 ports are generally black.
USB 3.0 ports are generally blue.
Have you tried plugging those problematic peripherals into the front usb ports on the computer?

Yes i did indeed have tried all usb ports ,screenshot of device manager there .
