Mouse Calibration Off in Games. Could it be the Motherboard?

I'm having trouble with the mouse in games. The in game pointer strafes from where the actual pointer is. Further from the middle = further off. This makes it especially hard to navigate menus because everything's on the far ends of the screen. Things only highlight when I've got the cursor about 3 inches to the right or left depending on which side of the screen it's on.

Troubleshooting (already tried):
-Downloaded and updated latest NVIDIA drivers. Tried EVGA's with no luck too.
-Plugged HDMI directly into motherboard & used integrated graphics. Same issue.
-Used different mice including bluetooth, wireless, USB and PS2. Still nothing.
-Flashed with the latest Bios. Same.
-Reformatted and re-installed Windows 7 x64. Same.
-Troubleshooted with Gigabyte on the phone for about an hour. Nothing.
-One stick of RAM. Also same.
-Same TV, different computer - works fine.
-Same copies of games, different computer - work fine.

So can the motherboard affect the mouse? Everything's normal outside of the game. I know the resolution changes in games, but I'm using 1080p in the desktop and in games.

Thanks for the reply, but I've already tried different ports. The main mouse I use is a Logitech Click Optical Mouse. Like I said, I've tried a lot of other mice, and since my previous post I've even tried a WiFi one. I think I've tried every type of mouse known to man.

All of the mice run the same games fine plugged into my Laptop's HDMI via the same monitor. It's running Windows 7 x64 too.

The keyboard I use is a Logitech Media Board Pro and have synced it to the Laptop as well during the game.

And I'm just using the default drivers (whatever just causes them to work when plugged in)

Nope. The mouse only has 2 buttons plus a wheel so I didn't see any need to set different button functions. The other mice I've tried were various HP and Microsoft ones. All do the same thing.

The mouse stays where it is when it pauses (doesn't catch back up). I've noticed some games will work normally and then suddenly decide to start screwing up, while others are always messed up. In Bad Company 2 I can't get past the main menu because the button to start the campaign is in the bottom right corner.

Oh yeah, and the games I've tried playing are both installed from the disk and through Steam... so I'm not using Steam exclusively for gameplay.

Truly. I'm over Gigabyte. Hideous splash screen, but I could have dealt with it for the specs. It's new, so newegg's already issued an RMA. I'm going with an EVGA this time.

It costs a little more with slightly lower specs, but meh.
16GB max RAM instead of 32... realistically I never would have put $260 worth of 32 (4x8) in though.
2 PCI-E's... never would have used Gigabyte's third (which obviously couldn't have fit another GPU)

On the pros it has 4 more USB 2.0's

Hey, will that USB/IEEE 1394 bracket in the picture make it 10 external USB 2.0's?

Getting back... It does sound like a mobo issue though right?

I don't know if it is mobo, could be. Yes, it will be 10 USB2's + 2 more headers.
