I'll try to make a long story short. I am trying to use just Bluetooth with my wireless mouse and my logitech MK850. The technician theorizes that it will not work on only Bluetooth because when the computer is put to sleep, Bluetooth stops. Is there some way I can I can keep Bluetooth open while the computer is sleeping so that when I wiggle a mouse it will wake up ?

My reason is the machine works better with BT than with the unifier.

Not something [full disclosure] that I have really worked with.

However, you may be able to create a custom power plan/scheme.

Start here:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/w...g-command-line-options?source=recommendations

Scroll down to view the available command line options

/deviceenableawake may be a possibility.

The example in the link is:

powercfg /deviceenableawake "Microsoft USB IntelliMouse Optical"

Except in your situation Bluetooth would be the device versus the example IntelliMouse device.

Maybe both.

First take a look at any existing power plans and go from there.

I wish I was capable of this level of technology but for me this is ChatGPS.
I do appreciate the effort very much.
It was pointed out that I do not want the BT running whil the pc sleeps if that would be the case.
Anyway I recalled a Macrium image and all is well escept now my Windows Mail [old Hotmail] the contacts are not opening. I tried reset, repair, reinstall ,sfc and DISM restore to no avail
Maybe a Windows bug.
Have a good day.
