I know this is going to sound as impossible to you as it is to me, but my computer was working flawlessly up until I plugged in my new monitor, it is a Dell S3220DGF . After plugging it in and selecting my desktop resolution, I go to startup a game, lo and behold no mouse cursor. Now I can move my mouse around and notice that the "mouse" does exist on the screen as I can see it interacting with the game and I can still click on things, but the cursor itself is gone. Went ahead and tried several more games, all with the same results. Why in the world would plugging in a new monitor do anything with the cursor...? I am so confused. Please help I am searching online trying everything and anything I can to fix this.
