I updated to Windows Vista Home Premium within the last week and am having trouble with my Logitech G5 Mouse. The mouse cursor will just freeze and will only move again after I hit a button on the keyboard (Microsoft Natural 4000). I have installed all the updated vista drivers from Logitech and have unistalled and reinstalled them three times. I have e-mailed Logitech with no response and spent over an hour on the phone with a Microsoft customer service rep. The issue still persists. The freezing is random and happens more when using the scroll wheel and when opening programs. I have tried using a wireless Microsoft Notebook mouse and experience the same issues. All of my other devices are updated to current Vista drivers. I have an EVGA 8800 GTX, P5N32-SLi Premium motherboard, E6700 CPU, 2GB Corsair RAM, and a Creative Fata1ty X-Fi sound card. I also have two 300GB Seagates in RAID 0. Any information on this would be great. I upgraded to Vista for Bioshock and Crysis, but looks like I have jumped the gun. No FPS pun intended.
Not sure what to do exactly. Help would be greatly appreciated!!
