Question Mouse delay when I put my refresh rate to 60hz

Hey guys!

I am having a problem with my gaming setup and it's kinda driving me crazy. Bought a new PC (Gefroce 4070, Ryzen 7 5700x, 32gb RAM) and also a new TV (TCL 65C735 supports up to 144hz).
Most games I can run on 1080p/120fps or 1440p/120hz (DLSS and stuff helps a lot these days). So usually i can play most games like i wanted them to. But there are some expectations, like for example games you can't force above 60fps. When my settings are still at 120hz the 60fps feel choppy and not very smooth (V-Sync off helps a bit but tearing is a thing and G-Sync is not available for me). But when i set my desktop to 60hz everything is as supersmooth as it gets in game BUT setting my desktop to 60hz (via NVIDIA panel or directly at Windows) makes my mouse having very noticable delay which kinda makes it unusable.
So my question is: Is it somehow possible to get rid of this mouse delay when i set my PC to 60hz?
I tried different things:
- using all the HDMI 2.1 slots I got at the TV
- game mode in Windows and TV
- using riva tuner with different settings
- could changing from HDMI 2.1 to DP 1.4 help?
My very limited knowledge comes to an end so I hope someone can give me some advice :)

So tldr: Is there any way to get rid of the Mouse lag / Mouse delay when I set my 120/144hz TV to 60hz?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Did you install the OS and drivers necessary for your build or was it done a the store you purchased the parts from? if the store you bought it from installed the OS and drivers, use DDU and remove all GPU(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) then manually install the latest driver(sourced from Nvidia's support site) and install it an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

On second thoughts, please state the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Peripherals:
BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
