Mouse disconnecting and reconnecting randomly

So about a week ago i got a GTX 970 and after installing it into my pc i have been getting issues with my mouse disconnecting and reconnecting. At first i thought it was an issue with my pc mouse but after trying out a new one it seems to be something else. Anyone had this issue happen or might have a fix?

I have tried Control panel>Device manager>USB Controllers and unchecking the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Also tried going into power settings and disabling the USB Selective suspend setting

I am having the same problem. The only new device I changed up was my headset. I have tried all those fixes and have ran software diagnostics. All hardware is working properly... I'm at a loss as to what it can be.
