Mouse disconnects, shortly followed by BSOD "Driver_Corrupted_Expool."

Every couple hours or so, my mouse randomly disconnects, and immediately after, I bluescreen with the error "Driver_Corrupted_Expool." What does this mean, and how do I fix it?

ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 mobo
8GB RAM (3.9 usable)
Win8.1
AMD FX-8350 CPU
