Mouse double click by itself randomly

why is mouse mouse randomly double click (selecting) even though im not touching it.

I recently ran ccleaner, and revo uninstaller on my computer thats when problems arrived. what do i do? i cant be productive anymore.

Get a new mouse, the metal contact points on the switches get bent over time causing this to happen

Other solution is to find out what switch your mouses uses, buy it, take apart your current mouse and remove the old switch and solder on the new one.

this is annoying, but my mouse is really acting dumb its just randomly selcting this even the im not touching anything. It randomly selecting anything that i mouse over. 🙁

i guess i should buy a new one...

this is generally a wear and tear issue where the sprung metal part of the switch weakens over time.
you have 2 choices.. replace the microswitch or buy a new mouse.

I hear ya, that disappointing because this mouse is suppose to be sturdy and last longer than a year.

Your saying there is no way this is a software problem

Not really, how will the software know when the click is supposed to be real vs fake.
If the mouse is under warranty than go for an RMA.

It is but i cant wait for the mouse to be repaired, i will just go pick up a different one.

They might do an advance RMA so before you but something try the RMA first you may not have to get a temp mouse.

what is that? never heard of advance RMA

You give them CC info they put a hold on your card ship you the replacement, once you get it you ship yours back and when they receive it they remove the hold on your CC.
