Question Mouse double clicks

Hi
I bought this cheap gaming mouse which is ok except that it sends double clicks often when I try to just single click. Not wanting to return it immediately I thought I'd ask if there's some kind of software that would allow to ignore the double clicks if they occur too fast, which is now happening?

Try adjusting the double-click speed in Control Panel >> Mouse

If that doesn't help, get a better quality mouse.

Unless I'm mistaken the double-click speed only effects the upper limit of speed and not the lower limit

You could be right, though I've never had to use that feature for more years than I care to remember, wouldn't do any harm to try it though all the same.
However, I believe a quality mouse is the answer.

Yeah I actually had expensive mouse once that had the same problem after using it a while. So I thought I should try to fix these mouses

Bad luck --- I never had that problem, but then I never had a gaming mouse either (I don't game).
My mice have only ever been Logitech or Microsoft or, currently, Acer wireless as my current system is an Acer desktop.

Sometimes cheap mouses are the best. I have few cheap non-gaming mouses that seems to never break

I certainly don't believe in paying crazy money for a mouse or keyboard like some do --- £25 tops for each is my limit.
