Mouse freeze and sound goes

Hello,
my usb mouse randomly freezes when playin games but when it does the sound in my headset goes aswell. it doesnt come bak just stays froze and the red light still on mouse, i have to reboot by holding power button. im also using usb 4gamers headset for a ps3 and my keyboard still works when it freezes. if someone knows how to fix it will be apprieciated, i think it might be registry or this headset im using cuz the wire is showing and i taped bak together.

If a computer freezes and does not recover, the first thing to check would be the memory. Download and run memtest86 4.0a for at least three passes to test the memory.
