Hi guys,
So I just built my first PC and it is largely a success!
One problem, however, is that the mouse is freezing up for a few seconds occasionally so not only will I not be able to move it but no 'clicks' are registered either. Searching on the internet it seems many others have had similar issues but there does not seem to be a definitive answer and nothing has worked for me thus far.
The mouse is one that I used to use with my laptop (Vista 32 bit) and I had no issues at all, so the mouse is not a problem. I believe I have updated all the necessary drivers post install of Windows 7 (64 bit). I had a look at the drivers for the mouse on the Logitech site but it is not clear they exist. Additionally I ran in safe mode and the problem still existed although did not seem to be as bad?
Lastly the mouse worked fine in the BIOS and if I can remember correctly it even worked straight after I installed Windows and perhaps after a few drivers and programs were installed.
As you can imagine this is quite frustrating and any help would appreciated. Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks
Here is my build:
Motherboard: Asus Z87M Plus
CPU: Intel 4670K
RAM: 8Gb Corsair DDR3
HDD: Samsung 840 Pro 128Gb
OS: Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium
Mouse: Logitech VX Revolution
