Mouse highlights every file I click

I have a Acer aspire E1-531 laptop windows 8 is......my hard disk got corrupted so I checked the disk using command prompt, after that I have this problem of multiple files being highlighted on a click.......it doesn't unhighlight on clicking on a free area
