Mouse: I get vertical m'ment when I dont want it?

Hiya,

I've just bought a new mouse MX700, after having a MicroSoft Intellimouse Explorer.

I love the new mouse but:

WHen I move the mouse horizontally I get vertical movement as well, anyone know how to change this.

I remember some time ago seeing in a driver (probably MS) that you moved the mouse horizontally and it adjusted this movement??? but that was ages ago?

Anyone got any ideas.

In addition to drivers, make sure you're not on a shiny
surface. Sorry for stating the obvious.

But no its not a tracking problem it tracks perfect just at an odd angle....

My old mouse is fine, and that was optical.
