[SOLVED] Mouse keeps disconnecting and reconnecting and stops working after a while until I restart the computer ?

I have 2 wired mice and they both have the same problem, so I don't think it's just the mouse itself. When the mouse stops working, unplugging and replugging don't fix it, only restarting does. Some methods I tried:

• Uncheck the "allow computer to turn off device to save power" boxes in device manager.
• Disable USB suspension in power setting.
• Check mouse driver, up to date.
• Switch USB ports.
• Disable USB legacy support in BIOS.

Anyone knows other things I can try to fix it? So annoying when that happens in a game.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition?

Make and model mice? How old?

Look in Reliability History for error codes, etc. that correspond with the times that the mice stopped working.

Run the Windows 10 built in troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Likewise: "sfc /scannow" and "dism"

Manually download the mouse drivers via the manufacturer's website. Reinstall and reconfigure.
